What would you do if one day you were running a highly successful company, have wonderful amazing children, great “friends” and an incredible mom? living a life that feels almost perfect, pursuing your dreams while traveling the globe, then suddenly, without warning, you find yourself locked up in a grim and unforgiving prison in a third world country. It’s a shocking twist, and honestly, I didn’t know what to do either.

I was happy….. amazing kids, great mom, wife, friends, successful business. Everything was great. Sure, everyone has daily stresses of life, but my life was pretty wonderful. Then it wasn’t in a matter of seconds. I simply went to sign for a pallet of samples and promotional items my clients sent to our event, and I was greeted by 20 heavily armed Dominican DNCD (Dominican DEA) agents pointing machine guns at my head.
After 18 months of the most horrific experience of my life, I am back home with my kids, mom, and the people that matter most to me. God is good and I am blessed. This is a story that Spielberg can’t even write.
